This efficient 802.11ac access point supports a maximum concurrent data rate of 1.2 Gbps (867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz), channel width 80 MHz (VHT80), multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) and two spatial streams (2SS) per radio. It enables simultaneous transmission of multicast data to multiple terminals, maximizing data throughput and improving network efficiency. Featuring RF Dynamic Adjustment technology, Wi-Fi distributed control architecture, secure unified network access and integrated application flow analysis, the OmniAccess® Stellar AP1201 is ideal for businesses of all sizes requiring a simple, secure and scalable wireless solution. This access point supports BLE5.0/Zigbee and Thread protocols, also positioning it for a wide range of endpoints and IoT applications.

AP1201 access points can be managed by Alcatel-Lucent's OmniVista® Cirrus platform. OmniVista® Cirrus provides a secure, resilient and scalable cloud-based network management platform. It is thus possible to benefit from easier network deployment and simple deployment of services while benefiting from advanced analysis functions for smarter solutions. The OmniVista® Cirrus offers user-friendly unified access with secure authentication , implementation of access strategies for all users and their terminals.

The AP1201 can be managed by the Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista® 2500 platform installed in the on-site data center or in the cloud with OmniVista Cirrus. In this case the access points are managed as one or more access point groups (a logical group of one or more access points.
